Direct reimbursement agreements with pharmacies
As a fund member, you receive a direct reimbursement from your purchase in pharmacies that are under agreement with us. Members are only liable for the copayment. Simply present your Kela card with the employer’s fund number 48015 at the pharmacy.
Tradeka’s sickness fund has direct reimbursement agreements with the following pharmacies:

- Rauman III Keskus-Apteekki

- The Association of Finnish Pharmacies (includes over 800 pharmacies)
Medical practice services at Suomen Terveystalo Oy
Suomen Terveystalo Oy is the occupational health care service provider for Tradeka’s sickness fund. You are only liable for a 20% copayment for the doctor’s fee, examination, and treatment. You receive the benefit by stating that you are a member of Tradeka’s sickness fund and presenting your Kela card. In addition, you get the following benefits on regularly priced examinations:
- No service fees (standard fee €21,90), however, a Kanta service fee of €2,50 per visit is charged.
- Discounts on various examinations and doctor’s consultations.
Any expenses that are not directly reimbursable (e.g. physical therapy and psychotherapy) are paid by the member who can then apply for reimbursement from Tradeka’s sickness fund using Kela’s forms.
Please note that the sickness fund agreement cannot be combined with other offers. If a clinic has a campaign offer you want to use, pay the sum in full at the clinic (with no Kela reimbursements or additional benefits) and apply for the reimbursement later.

Dental care at Suomen Terveystalo Oy
Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement with Terveystalo. It is valid in all Terveystalo locations that offer dentist services. The sickness fund reimburses 500 euros of your dentist and dental hygienist service costs at Terveystalo per year. You are only liable for 20% copayment. The sickness fund covers 80% of the costs. Agreement services include e.g. the following:
- Basic oral and dental examination by a dentist
- Removal of tartar by a dental hygienist (with dentist’s referral)
- Dental imaging examinations
- Filling and other basic care
- Tooth extraction
- Orthodontics, prosthetics, and dental technology
Please note that Tradeka’s sickness fund does not reimburse aesthetic dental care. All services must be reimbursable by Kela. If maximum reimbursable costs are exceeded, you are liable for the excess.

Dental care at Oral
From January 1st, 2020, the dental care services reimbursed by the sickness fund will also cover services by Oral. Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement also with Oral. It is valid in all Oral locations that offer dentist services.
Please note that Tradeka’s sickness fund does not reimburse aesthetic dental care. All services must be reimbursable by Kela. If maximum reimbursable costs are exceeded, you are liable for the excess.
Physiotherapy at Fysios
From January 1st, 2020, the physiotherapy services reimbursed by the sickness fund will also cover services by Fysios. Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement also with Fysios. It is valid in all Fysios locations that offer physiotherapy services.
Eyeglasses and eyesight tests
In effect since November 1, 2021, Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement with Instrumentarium, Keops and Nissen. It is valid at all stores of the three chains. After a year’s membership, the fund reimburses 80% of eyeglass or contact lens costs. The maximum reimbursement is 250 euros over two calendar years, i.e. every other year.
Sickness fund members also get discounts for eyeglasses, sunglasses and eyesight tests at Instrumentarium, Keops and Nissen.

The benefits are valid indefinitely. Discounts cannot be combined with campaign offers. If the campaign offer at the store is better than the benefit price, you get the lower price.
